Thanks Mary. It does seem unfortunate to be 'wasting' such a valuable resource. Although I do read that people are starting to realise that it is a viable national asset. I think that with increasing demands being placed upon countries as alternat...

well, iam happy to be part of these great people championing the use of renewables all over the world indeed iam an african , a land full of many resources that are not tapped and utilised, recently we had a whole day power blackout at home, i could not do anything..then i thought seriously in investing in renewable energy. Here in kenya two major dams that supply electricity have been closed down, what does this mean to my fellow countrymen.....power shortage...
As a journalist who is in film making and radio, my ideas have diverted over recent times. In all my productions i approach them in a way that people will understand the potential that renewables have for our future, iam working on a beekeeping film series that is aimed at highlighting how bee keeping helps in wildlife conservation.
it will be a noble idea .when i tell people not to cut down trees and burn charcoal , but offer them an idea of renewable energy. The forests may dissappear but the sun will still exist.
Thanks alot....more comming soon

Duncans Passion for Solar Energy - Bogoria ( Kenya )

A home in the semi arid land of Central Baringo , Loboi village lives a humble man , a few meters from L.Bogoria National Reserve. A reserve famously known for its geysers, hot springs and flamingoes. After taking a cup of tea that Duncan’s wife served me with a frien… Continue
